Kaitlyn Olcott is a senior who is majoring in Political Science and Nonprofit and NGO Studies. She is currently an intern at CASA DeKalb County for the spring 2019 semester.
Here is what Kaitlyn had to say about her internship experience so far:
Q: What projects are you working on as an intern?
Kaitlyn: My title is Social Media and Marketing intern. I’m doing a lot of fun projects and recently created and sent out a newsletter.
Q: What is the biggest benefit and/or the coolest part of your internship experience?
Kaitlyn: One thing I love is being able to let my creativity show through social media posts for CASA.
Q: In your opinion, why should students pursue internship opportunities?
Kaitlyn: A student should pursue internship opportunities because it gives you a taste of a “real world” job and allows you to learn and grow before graduating.
Q: Please share any additional comments you have about your internship experience.
Kaitlyn: Thank you so much to the Roberts Family Foundation for funding this amazing program. I have participated in this program twice and find it extremely beneficial and am grateful I was given this opportunity.
