Museum Day 2025 Workshop Announced

The DeKalb County History Center and the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership (DCNP) are excited to host the 7th Annual Museum Day Workshop on October 8, 2025, from 9:30am – 3:00pm at the DeKalb County History Center.

This free professional development opportunity is designed for staff, volunteers, and board members involved with a museum, historical society, library, or historic property. Museum Day 2025 includes the following sessions:

• Canva 101: Updating Your Newsletter and Other Graphic Design Tricks
• Overview of the StEPS (Standards and Excellence Program)
• Staying On Track: Museum Compliance & Checklists
• America/Illinois 250 – ‘We the People…of DeKalb County’

Museum Day 2025 is free to attend, but registration is required.
