Summary

June is Pride month—an opportunity to celebrate and learn about all things LGBTQ+. But shouldn’t your board, volunteers, and staff be equipped to provide affirming and inclusive services to the LGBTQ+ communities, all year? In this session, you’ll gain introductory knowledge about LGBTQ+ identities and issues; learn terminology; explore trends, challenges, and opportunities; hear firsthand accounts from people living in DeKalb County; and discuss strategies for inclusive and effective approaches to serving DeKalb County’s LGBTQ+ communities.

Free for DCNP members, in partnership with DeKalb Pride
